Milton State Park Location: Park is an island on the Susquehanna River, between the boroughs of Milton and West Milton. Facilities: Picnic areas, hiking trail (1 mile), boat launch, playfields, playground. Activities: Boating, fishing, hiking. Special Features: The southern part of the island is undeveloped and covered in a forest of predominantly silver maple, river birch, and sycamore. It provides a safe resting place for migrating songbirds and waterfowl.
