Mirovaia Ekonomika i Mezhdunarodnye Otnosheniia 

(World Economics and International Relations), the monthly journal of the Institute of World Economics and International Relations of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, published in Moscow since July 1957.

The journal is devoted to problems of contemporary state-monopoly capitalism. It analyzes the most urgent and important questions of economics, domestic politics, and foreign policy in the capitalist countries, of the world revolutionary process, and of social, political, and economic changes in the developing states. Considerable space is devoted to surveys of international and internal politics and to characterizations of class and party structures in the capitalist states.

Mirovaia ekonomika i mezhdunarodnye otnosheniia. also publishes material pertaining to Soviet foreign policy and to the deepening of economic relations and the further development of the division of labor among socialist countries. Critiques of bourgeois economic theories and of presentday bourgeois and reformist social and political doctrines occupy a special place in the magazine. Circulation, 46,000 (1974).
