(electricity)
A galvanometer having a small mirror attached to the moving element, to permit use of a beam of light as an indicating pointer. Also known as reflecting galvanometer.

I used a moving coil mirror galvanometer to throw a metre long beam onto the scale, and from a batch of ordinary test tubes I selected by trial and error a set with minimum and uniform fluorescence.
