Bodnarskii, Mitrofan Stepanovich
Born Dec. 24, 1870, in the village of Svershchevo, Kholmsk District, Lublin Province; died Sept. 19, 1953, in Moscow. Soviet geographer. Doctor of geographical sciences (1936). Bodnarskii graduated from Moscow University in 1910 and began teaching there in 1912, becoming a professor in 1925. He also lectured in other higher educational institutions in Moscow as well as in Ivanovo, Voronezh, and Mogilev.
