Molochnaia Promyshlennost’ SSSR

(The Dairy Industry of the USSR), a monthly scientific, technical, and industrial journal; organ of the Ministry of the Meat and Dairy Industry of the USSR and the Central Board of the Scientific and Technical Society of the Food Industry. The journal was first published in Moscow in 1934 as Molochnaia promyshlennost’ SSSR. From 1937 to 1939 it was called Molochno-maslodel’naiapromyshlennost,’ in 1940 it again became Molochnaia promyshlennosfSSSR. From 1941 to 1947 the journal was not published, but it resumed publication in 1948. It deals with problems in the technology, economics, and organization of production and in the planning and construction of dairy industry enterprises. It also carries replies to readers’ queries and information on foreign dairy industries. Circulation (1974), 14,000 copies.
