Moloma
a river in Kirov Oblast, RSFSR, with its sources in Vologda Oblast; a right tributary of the Viatka River (Volga Basin). Length, 419 km; basin area, 12,700 sq km. The Moloma rises in the northern interfluve area of the Severnye Uvaly, cutting through them in a broad valley. It is fed in various ways but predominantly by snow. Average water discharge 196 km from the mouth is 47.7 cu m per sec. The river freezes in early November and thaws in late April. It is floatable. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
