Location: Off NH 124, 4 miles north of Jaffrey.
Facilities: 21 tent sites (open year round, with limited services from November-March), youth group camping area, showers, flush toilets, picnic area, park store, trails, visitor center.
Activities: Camping (including winter camping), hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features: Mount Monadnock, a National Natural Landmark and a mecca for hikers, offers 40 miles of trails leading to its 3,165-foot summit. From the summit visitors have a 100-mile view to points in all six New England states. Mount Monadnock is one of the most climbed mountains in the world.

This year the company's annual performance, the Mount Monadnock Celebration of Dance, at Monadnock State Park near Jaffrey, New Hampshire, will take place August 27 (rain date 8/28).
If you'd like to visit the Mount Monadnock State Park headquarters, just keep driving on State Route 124 about a mile more.
Jaffrey Jaffrey is home to Monadnock State Park but is also the final resting place of author Willa Cather, who wrote parts of My Antonia as she stayed quietly in a nearby inn.
