Monasterboice

Monasterboice (mŏn'əstərbois`), village, Co. Louth, E Republic of Ireland. It is one of the oldest monastic sites in Ireland, established near the end of the 5th cent. There are ruins of a round tower, two churches, and ancient crosses.
