All other prints, the home video and laser disc versions have mono sound. Therefore, both an older drive-in theatre with a mono sound system and no Dolby playback capability and a theatre with Dolby cinema decoders and a four-channel playback system could play a 35 mm film recorded in Dolby Stereo.
