zh`), industrial suburb S of Paris (1990 pop. 38,333), Hauts-de-Seine dept., N central France. Papermaking, publishing, construction, aeronautics, and the manufacture of surgical instruments are the chief industries.

Montrouge

a city in France, in the department of Hautsde-Seine; a southern suburb of Paris. Population, 45,000 (1968). It has electrotechnical and construction industries, and tools and hardware are produced.
