Morehead, Alfred (Hodges) (1909–66) bridge player, author, editor; born in Flintstone, Ga. He helped the Culbertson team beat the British for the prestigious Schwab Cup (1934), became the first bridge editor of the New York Times (1935–63), and supervised production of the International Laws of Bridge (1943).
