a city in Japan, located on Honshu Island in Osaka Prefecture. Population 184,500 (1970). A northeastern industrial suburb of Osaka, Moriguchi is a major rail center and the site of chemical, machine building and other industrial plants serving the needs of the Osaka industrial region.

16 ( ANI ): The Japanese Government and universities have started a probe over the research projects involving Hisashi Moriguchi, a researcher at University of Tokyo Hospital, who had falsely claimed to have carried out the world's first clinical trial using the trailblazing stem cell technology.
