Description: Dedicated to promoting communication among private and public agencies and individuals having interests relating to the Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail (see separate entry in national trails section). Identifies and preserves Mormon historical sites, including trails and locations where historical events occurred. Sponsors four lecture meetings a year, with speakers on Mormon Trail history, locations, events, and journals. Assists in the development of the trail as administered by the National Park Service and promotes interest in the Trail. Members: 650. Dues: $10/year.
