Mosquitos 

an open gulf of the Caribbean Sea off the shores of Central America (Panama). It is bounded in the west by the Valiente Peninsula. Width at the entrance, approximately 370 km; depths, to 1,188 m. The shores are low-lying. Tides are irregular, semidiurnal, and 0.6 m high.
