Motor Vehicles in Military Affairs

motor vehicles of all types—track and wheel prime movers, carriers, tractors, and truck trailers—that are in service and provide combat support transport. According to their designation, all vehicles are divided into the following categories: combat vehicles with mounted or towed weapons (combat materiel); combat-training vehicles for combat instruction and for improving the skill of combat squads (both crews and drivers); service vehicles for transporting personnel, weapons, ammunition, and troop equipment; special vehicles for troop control; transport vehicles for administrative and technical support and other types of servicing of the troops; and training vehicles for teaching the personnel how to drive.
