Rindjani

 

an active volcano on the island of Lombok, in Indonesia. Elevation, 3,726 m. On the conical peak is a crater 480 m deep. West of the peak is a caldera with a lake in the center (elevation of the surface, 2,008 m; depth to 230 m). At the eastern shore of the lake a cone rises to 2,376 m. Solfataric activity is observed on Rindjani.
