Mount Tom State Park Location: 3.5 miles west of Bantam off Route 202. Facilities: Picnic tables (é), food concession (é), hiking trail, bathhouse, observation tower, bathrooms (é). Activities: Boating (non-motorozed), fishing, swimming, scuba diving, hiking. Special Features: Park is one of the oldest in Connecticut's state park systems. The summit of Mount Tom is 1,325 feet, and a hiking trail ascends 500 feet along a one-mile route to a stone tower on top of the mountain.
