Mouselike Dormouse 

(Myomimus personatus), a mammal of the family Muscardinidae of the order Rodentia. Unlike other dormice, it resembles a mouse. Body length, up to 8 cm; tail length, 7–8 cm. The body is gray above and whitish below. The mouselike dormouse is a rare species and is found in southwestern Turkmenia, in Iran, and in southeastern Bulgaria. It lives in foothills, on plains, in open places, and in thickets.
