Moy, Seong (1921– ) graphic artist; born in Canton, China. He and his family emigrated to St. Paul, Minnesota (1927). He studied at the St. Paul School of Art (1936–40), the Art Students League (1941–42), and at the Hans Hofmann School, New York (1941–42). He taught at numerous schools and is known for his expressive and abstract color woodcuts, such as Classical Horse and Rider (1953). |
