Muia-Kuanda Basin
an intermontane basin in northern Transbaikalia (Buriat ASSR). Elevations, 465–700 m; elevations of the surrounding ranges (Severnaia Muia and Iuzhnaia Muia), to 2,500–2,700 m. The basin is filled with sandy and sandy loam deposits; the bottom is occupied by the vast floodplains of the Vitim, Muia, Kuanda, and other rivers.
