a river in the Khanty-Mansi National Okrug, Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Konda River (Ob’ basin). It is 608 km long and drains an area of 7,810 sq km. The Mulym’ia flows along the western edge of the Western Siberian Plain; it meanders greatly in its middle course. The river is fed predominantly by snow. It freezes in October and thaws in May. Fishkills are common.
