High emotions can make any couple's wedding day fairly traumatic, but ABC's new comedy ``Big Day'' applies Murphy's Law to a ``24''-style conceit -- an eventful, disaster-strewn day plays out over the course of one season -- for a series that boasts a farcical, eager-to-amuse energy. This novel is really a series of vignettes where Tony or Father Vidicon are helping people who are entangled with Finagles General Principle and Murphy's law. This year, I traveled to Boston for the ultimate nostalgialest: Pennywise, Bad Religion, Rancid, Agnostic Front, Murphy's Law, and a list of other veteran Warped bands came together to perform at Warped's 10-year anniversary. |
