Murrumbidgee River

River, southeastern New South Wales, Australia. The major right-bank tributary of the Murray River, it flows west from the Great Dividing Range near Canberra to join the Murray 140 mi (225 km) from the Victoria border; it is about 1,050 mi (1,690 km) long. The Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area involves more than 1,000 sq mi (2,600 sq km) of farmland and supports livestock pastures and the cultivation of grapes, citrus fruits, wheat, cotton, and rice.

Goold is a Wiradjuri woman, born at Narrandera, on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, in south-western NSW.
The Wagga Wagga Beach Caravan Park, on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River has cabins that are conveniently located, but there are a small number of cabins remaining for the dates required for the convention.
The Murray, along with the 2,740-kilometre Darling River and 1,690-kilometre Murrumbidgee River, form the Murray Darling Basin, which accounts for some 40 percent of the nation's agricultural production.
