| Sodium arsenite exposure alters cell migration, focal adhesion localization and decreases tyrosine phosphorylation of focal adhesion kinase in H9C2 myoblasts. Transplantation of these cells from donors (or genetically corrected myoblasts from the host) can result in some myofibers that express dystrophin. Using ultrasound imagery to provide anatomical guidance, the team's physicians then inserted a needle through the abdomen and injected the myoblasts into the sphincter and the fibroblasts into the urethral wall. |
