(medicine)
Recurrent irregular, arrhythmic clonic muscle spasms, usually occurring more frequently in the morning or on going to sleep and often associated with other types of seizures.

MY daughter is severely disabled and suffers from a severe form of myoclonic epilepsy.
Dean Norris, 28, also of Southam, suffers from myoclonic epilepsy with ragged red fibres disease, which causes him to jerk uncontrollably and is depriving him of the use of his right arm.
Myoclonic epilepsy is characterized by jerky movements of some body parts alongwith tonic-clonic movements.
