The Ethernet controller is NE2000 compatible and has both TP and AUI outputs. The Ethernet portion of the board is fully NE2000 and NE2000-Plus compatible and based on the popular National Semiconductor AT/Lantic AT DP83905 chip, taking advantage of this chipset's proven reliability and the maturity of drivers available in most operating systems. Ethernet cards supported by INtime software include the Intel(a) EtherExpress PRO/100+ PCI Adapter, Kingston(a) EtheRx 10/100BASE-TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter models KNE100TX and KNE110TX, and most boards based on the NE2000 and DEC(a) 21x4x network adapters. |
