NHK 

(Nippon Hoso Kyokai, Japan Broadcasting Corporation), a Japanese radio broadcasting corporation, a semigovernmental organization. Founded in 1925, the corporation is located in Tokyo. NHK has 4,289 radio and television stations throughout the country (1975).
