TED
(1) See TED conference.

(2) (Triteal Enterprise Desktop) An earlier implementation of the Common Desktop Environment (CDE) user interface for Unix workstations from Triteal Corporation, Carlsbad, CA. TED included a variety of additional enhancements while conforming to CDE, which allowed it to run on all Unix computers. NTED provided access to applications on NT servers from within TED. Applications could be launched and files could be shared from both NT and Unix servers, and data could be cut and pasted between them.
