Nailing Machine
a machine employed in various woodworking industries, particularly in crate manufacturing. There are both stationary and portable types; they are made in one-, two-, or multiple-driving models for driving nails varying from 15-20 up to 100-120 mm in length. Nails are fed automatically from a hopper. In addition to driving the nails, the machines bend over the sharp ends. They are operated mechanically, hydraulically, or pneumatically. Their use has increased labor productivity by two to five times over manual nailing. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
