Najafabad (näjäf'äbäd`), city (1991 pop. 160,004), Esfahan prov., W central Iran, near Esfahan. It is the trade center for an agricultural region noted for its pomegranates.
Najafabad a city in Iran in the ostan (province) of Isfahan, on the highway to Iraq. Population, 46,000 (1971).
