Nam Dinh 

a city and port in North Vietnam, in the Hong Ha delta. It is the administrative center of Nam Ha Province. Population, 86,000 (1960). The city is a transportation junction. Its industries include textile factories producing cotton and silk fabrics and yarn, a distillery, a rice-hulling enterprise, and a glass factory.
