Prior to implementing WANSyncHA, Jones deployed Adonis DNS Appliances from BlueCat Networks in order to isolate the IP addresses provided for their critical servers at co-locations by having them correspond to the name server at each physical location.
LokBox appliance can be configured as a true DNS server - A full DNS server capable of being the authoritative name server for a domain is standard in each appliance.
Also included is an FTP and NTP system for easy file transfers, support for Perl, CGI, and FrontPage extensions, and domain name server capabilities, provided by bind 8.
