Provides leadership and support for nationally designated scenic and historic trails. The Center accomplishes its mission through an array of technical and financial assistance programs, advocacy, and interagency coordination. Programs include Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance Program, Land and Water Conservation Fund Program, National Trails System, Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Program, Federal Lands to Parks Program, and Partnership for Wild and Scenic Rivers.
