Teesside, says the service has a target of finding and sustaining employment for at least 188 offenders for the 12 months beginning in March, But, she says, only 22 gained work in the first three months from March to June.
Among the businesses and government organisations it works with are the National Probation Service

Decisions about the placement of offenders are made by the National Probation Service
in close partnership with the police and other agencies as part of the multi-agency public protection arrangement.
Other employers at the event include AA Insurance Services, Avon Cosmetics Ltd, Barclays Bank, Careers At Sea, Citifinancial Europe plc, Holiday Inn, Inland Revenue, National Probation Service
Northumbria, the Royal Air Force and many more.

had been delivering a programme effective in reducing offending by sex offenders.
