Nemrut

a volcano on the Armenian Highland in Turkey, on the west bank of Lake Van. Elevation, 3,050 m. The crater contains a freshwater lake, which is 6 km long and has widths to 2 km. The last known eruption was in 1441. The volcano is presently in a weak fumarolic stage.
