Nero Burning ROM
A popular CD packet writing application from Nero AG, Karlsbad, Germany (www.nero.com). Highly praised for its professional and comprehensive features, Nero has been widely used to "burn" CD-Rs and write CD-RWs. Newer versions support DVDs as well, and the "Burning Rome" pun has given way to a simpler software brand, just plain "Nero." Formerly Ahead Software AG, founded in 1995, Nero offers several multimedia applications.
