NetWare 5

A major upgrade to NetWare in 1998. It added full IP and Java support, a Web server, virtual memory, greater memory protection for NLMs, Y2K compliance, a 64-bit file system (NSS) that coexists with the standard file system and an enhanced NDS. It also includes digital certificate and encryption support and comes with a 5-user license of Oracle8. The NetWare 5 kernel is fully SMP based (see MPK).
