a high-performance Linux company, has signed a global agreement with IBM that allows IBM to factory-install or bundle the TurboLinux operating system on Netfinity servers.
Active PCI, which has been shipping as part of IBM's Netfinity line of servers for over a year, enables users to add components to Windows-based servers while the machines remain running.
The company also announced new servers featuring Intel 's latest Pentium II Xeon processor and an upgraded setup and deployment tool that can cut many Netfinity server setups to just 30 minutes.
