(CH3)2NC6H3N2C6H2CH3NH2·ClH Water- and alcohol-soluble green powder; used as pH 6.8-8.0 acid-base indicator, and as a dye to test stomach function. Also known as dimethyl diaminophenazine chloride; toluylene red.
