Neuvosto-Karjala
(Soviet Karelia), the Finnish-language republic newspaper of the Karelian ASSR; published in Petrozavodsk three times a week. The first issue of the newspaper was published on Oct. 5, 1920, under the name Karjalan Kommuuni (Karelian Commune); it changed its name repeatedly until it took the name Neuvosto-Karjala in May 1957.
