Location: In Garrett County, 5 miles south of Grantsville, off I-68.
Facilities: 37 improved campsites (é), 11 camper cabins, bathhouses with hot showers, camp store, restrooms (é), picnic area and shelters (é), hiking trails, boat launch, boat rentals (rowboats, kayaks, paddleboats, surf bikes), nature center.
Activities: Camping, boating, flatwater canoeing, freshwater fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking (but not when trails have snow), cross-country skiing, interpretive programs.
Special Features: Park lies within the boundaries of Savage River State Forest (see separate entry). It was built on the site of a former milling center on the Savage River and features a 13-acre lake.
