12 (ANI): Australian tennis great John Newcombe believes that former US tennis legend Andre Agassi is copping too much criticism for revealing that he lied about taking drugs during his playing career, and says that some support needs to given.
CLEADON SAC (36 rods; 13 weighed in): 1 John Newcombe (two fish from the Tyne for 4lb 2oz), 2 Paul Harrison (one fish, White Rock, 4lb 1oz - HSF), 3 Richard Landsbury (one fish, Whitley Bay, 3lb 9oz).
Newcombe was named the Division I national player of the week by the American Volleyball Coaches Association and Collegiate Volleyball Update.
