Nexus One

    0.01 sec.
Nexus One
The only Android phone available from Google without a carrier's service plan. Short lived, the GSM phone made by HTC was offered in January 2010 and removed from the Google site in July. Without a plan, there were few takers, and HTC brought out the more popular EVO in May of that year. See Android, HTC EVO and unlocked phone.

The "Real" Google Phone!
At least for a while. Two years after Google debuted the Android, the unlocked GSM-based Nexus One was available directly from Google. Notice the Google "Quick Search Box" (red arrow), which lets you search the phone and the Web at the same time.
