Ney
Michel , Duc d'Elchingen. 1769--1815, French marshal, who earned the epithet Bravest of the Brave at the battle of Borodino (1812) in the Napoleonic Wars. He rallied to Napoleon on his return from Elba and was executed for treason (1815)

It features music from Chas Whitaker (percussion) and Maren Lueg (Turkish clarinet, ney flute and other reeds) and solo bellydance performances from Siluria, Dominique and others.
Dede wrote the music, which is partly influenced by songs from Istanbul and the Sufi tradition, and adds the ney flute, percussion and, of course, the electronic sounds.
The backing for all this matches flamenco-influenced guitar with instruments like the oud, ney flute or qanoun, normally associated with Arabic music.
