Nistru 

(Dnestr), a Moldavian-language monthly journal devoted to literary, social, and political questions. It is the organ of the Writers’ Union of the Moldavian SSR. The journal has been published in Kishinev since 1932; prior to 1957 it was called Oktombrie (October). Circulation, about 6,000 (1974).
