Nitrophos 

(or nitrophosphate), a compound nitrogen-phosphorus mineral fertilizer. It contains an average of 38 percent N and P2O5. It is produced in granules consisting of a precipitate, ammonium nitrate, and gypsum or a precipitate, superphosphate, Ammophos, and ammonium nitrate obtained in a single production process by decomposition of apatite or phosphorite with a mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric or phosphoric acid and subsequent ammoniation of the reacting mass. It is used as a base and presowing fertilizer for all crops.

Leghari addressed weeds problem after germination by hoeing and applying two bags of Nitrophos.
Those manufactured locally include Urea, Ammonium Sulfate, and Calcium Ammonium Nitrate and Straight Nitrogen, Single Super Phosphate as Straight Phosphatic Fertilizer, and Nitrophos which is the only NP complex fertilizer locally produced, all other fertilizers are imported and there are many grades of fertilizers available in Pakistan.
Phosphatic Fertilizers Phosphatic fertilizers used in Pakistan are Diammonium Phosphate(DAP) and Nitrophos (NP) and occasionally Triple Super Phosphate (TSP).
