Troy Corporation has announced the commercialization of Troysperse SD100, a high performance additive for the dispersion of inorganic pigments such as titanium dioxide, iron oxide, and extender pigments in nonaqueous formulations. These considerations include the nature of raw material preparation, the specific solvent used to extract the prospective bioactive agents and the inclusion of even minor amounts of nonaqueous solvent as the carrier of the agent or extract into the bioassay. Since that time, substantial resources have been dedicated to research on the behavior of what have become known as nonaqueous phase liquids (NAPLs). |
