Summary: High growth potential in North Africa and emerging markets are highlight of the region's largest telecom conference starting today The 4th annual North Africa Com, the region's largest telecommunications event of its kind, opened its doors today in Cairo, Egypt, to more than to hundreds of high-level executives from the globe's best-known mobile and fixed-line operators, Internet Service Providers, regulators, investors, telecoms solution vendors and content providers.
Under the new plan, the region will be split into Egypt separately, Levant and North African into two distinct regions; Egypt as a standalone sub-territory with Levant and North Africa as another separate sub-territory within the larger Middle East region, it added.
