Changing Corners is what rock climbers call ``the crux'' of the Nose Route, the hardest part of a climb.
Wellman, age 39, along with big wall veteran and long-time climbing partner Mike Corbett completed the 11-day ascent up the Nose Route, one of over 75 routes in existence and the first established straight up the prow of El Capitan.
