O'Connor, Carroll (1924– ) movie/television actor; born in New York City. Initially a stage actor in Dublin, London, and Paris, he acted in a number of forgettable movies during the 1950s and 1960s. He starred in CBS's All in the Family (1971–79) and Archie Bunker's Place (1979–83), winning numerous Emmy awards.
